Tanya Habjouqa at Oslo Negativ

The fourth version of Oslo’s international photo festival Oslo Negativ is themed around the Norwegian term ‘brudd’, which can be translated to ‘break’, ‘rupture’ or ‘fracture’.

In collaboration with Preus museum, Norway’s National Museum of Photography, we are exhibiting extracts from Tanya Habjouqa’s “Birds Unaccustomed to Gravity”, which was on display at Sukkerbiten earlier this year.

Award-winning photographer, journalist and anthropologist Tanya Habjouqa has mapped the boundaries that have defined Palestinian life during the occupation and up until the watershed on 7 October last year, when Gaza was hermetically closed to international journalists. The exhibition also includes photos taken on the Occupied West Bank in November 2023.

Come visit us at booth 24, Saturdays & Sundays 12-27 Oct, more info at the festival website.
