Ingrid Eggen: Knex, Knax, Knoxs, Virvx and Handl
The Norwegian artist Ingrid Eggen is the first solo exhibitor when Fotografihuset opens its pilot program at Sukkerbiten in Oslo on the 20th of August.
Eggen shows the outdoor exhibition Knex, Knax, Knoxs, Virvx and Handl (2017–2020). The exhibition consists of photographs depicting bodies, hands and faces that in small facts and distorted gestures create a sculptural, almost architectural expression, or something resembling a sign language based on an unknown alphabet. At Sukkerbiten, the audience can experience these ambivalent photographs with the city as a background. The exhibition is curated by Jonas Ekeberg.
